LeXicon of LeBron
Variations of Le* occuring 25+ on /r/nba
Some Findings:
-
Last year, there were over 10,000 variations that appeared in over 34,000 instances across 31,222 comments.
-
LeCoast was the most common with 799 occurrences, followed by LeFuckYou (564), LeDecline (547), LeCoach (522), and LeBitch (365).
-
The old regex was capital L - lower case e - capital letter - lower case letter - any other letters (if any), but now it's been changed to capital L - lower case e - capital letter - any case letter +. It's also been updated to merge variations with the same letters but different cases together. With the update, LeCoast was the most common with 949 occurrences, still followed by LeFuckYou (742),
but then the order switches to become LeCoach (632), LeDecline (623), and (new to the top 5) LeGM (510).

One particular user, /u/5outof7_yes, used a variation of LeBron in more than 180 comments, making them the user with the most LeBron variations in their comments. To quote one of their comments, "LeJoke never gets LeOld."
-
For the most part, one user did not dominate the use of a LeDerivative, but LeDong was an outlier. LeDong showed up 126 times. Of those 126 times, one user generated 101. 100 of those instances came from a single comment on June 9th, 2017. Understandable, but possilby excessive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
-
Those with Cavs flairs used a LeBron variation the most, followed by those with Lakers and Golden State flairs.
